Chocolate Chips Boomerang Spider
The species may be recognised by the banded legs and the irregular flecks and dash-like markings, like chocolate chips, on the abdomen. The partly translucent abdomen is relatively short, measuring not more than 2.5 times the length of the cephalothorax. In the males, the posterior portion of the abdomen is covered by a dense layer of hairs. (The hairs are less conspicuous in well-fed males.) Its palpal femur is characteristically swollen at the distal end.
